Wishbone question

On the inside of the wishbone is the two barrel like attatchements that attatch the wishbone to the subframe.

I think they contain the rubber bushes.

Can i paint them with zinc primer on the outside?

I beleive the bolt holding the wishbone on goes through the gap in the middle and therefore would be ok to paint the outside of the barrel.

Is this right?

You have a barrel type opening, wiht the bushes in that, and then a hole in the middle of the bushes that the bolts run through.

Painting the bushes shold be ok as long as the paint doesn't eat inot them....oh and expect it to crack, the bushes are deisgned to flex
