When you book your ticket, say that you are part of "Williams Clio"club and that you want to display your car. You then have to get to FCS early to get in.

Mark, tbh i think alot of the mentality of people on here is swinging alot towards track days rather than 'show 'n' shine' type events. The track time, to put it politly is a rip off, why would i wanna spend that much money for 30 mins (if theres and incident maybe only even 10 mins?) on track when i can go and if i shop around get a whole day for £120 or so.

For me tbh its not so much about the show, thats a bonus if you like, its about going and meeting up with people i haven't seen for a year or so and having the crack, i remember whn i started going to car shows you'd have no ends of discounts, people offloading gear at the end of the day nice and cheap (not unlike the autosport show), but now there seems (and correct me if i'm wrong, and missed the offers etc), that traders are only there for advertising, they aren't interested in doing the offers.

I dunno maybe its me growing outa car shows and more into the racing side of things as i get older, but the whole show concept itself just doesn't appeal to me too much any more
