    major help/advice needed

    got a really long story short ive snaped my key for my car in my boot lock

    managed to change the barell so the car still starts and drive

    but hit another problem today i need to put petrol in it and cant as i need the key

    so how can i fill the car up

    need all the help i can get today as i go france tomoz on a fishing holiday so need to get a few bits for it today

    any clio key will open your fuel cap!

    nah my other key i have for my igniton barell doesnt open it all ready tried

    im 99% sure any keys fit, what happened to your spare?

    is this phase 1 or 2?

    never had a spare key could kick myself

    its a phase 1

    well the key i have got is off a ph2 and have tried my hardiest to make it open...

    thing i cant really drive down the scrappies to try and find one that will as got no petrol

    i can open midges with my keys, we were testing it out.

    My phase 2 key will fit midges fuel and one of hes scrappers... you need to find a mate with a clio to test it out!

    Sometimes the barrel sticks as they're never a perfect fit.... wiggle it and apply some gentle pressure and it'll turn the fuel filler cap lock.

    We did it to a V6 in Newquay with our 19 and a Megane key as the owner didn't believe us.Needless to say they weren't overly impressed as they're not cheap items to replace on the V6 (Same with everything else on that bloody car)
