Hillpower scuttle kit

Bought a hillpower scuttle kit from rob72 on here :D spent this weekend fitting it, drilling the hole etc. Its an awesome bit of kit and sounds like nothing ive heard before, induction noise in the cabin is mental so probably not for everyone but i love it , well sort off . im gonna chnage the filter at the end for a k&n as i prefer the sound over a foam filter ( not so deep imo ) but apart from that alls well.

im using a pipercross tvr griffin filter its massove,

how easy is wiring the bag up? care to do a quick write up?

Apparently a water box from a nova fits fine, possibly even no need to re-route. Seen a couple on here with the nova water bottle. Think Maxi has one on his (nova bottle)

You any experience of a piperx induction kit?

I havent got round to measuring up whether one will fit in the scuttle? Theyre pretty big..

A Pipercross will just fit in the scuttle space (I can take pics to help give an idea if you are thinking of fitting one there?) but it looks like the pipe would then need to bend quite sharply coming out of it in that position. Also the lower part of the filter would lie against the bottom of the scuttle, thus blocking any air coming in that way - I think one of the foam filters where the ends are 'open' would work better (the Pipercross has a solid 'top' on mine)

im going halfords tomorrow to order another filter ( cotton insted of foam ) to give people an idea of the size of filter you can fit , the ram measures base 150mm, length 160mm, top 100mm, 70mm flage so its pretty big plus there is space for more if you need.....
