    if its the clio cup ones.. stay away.. the map on the cups were designed to coincide with the balanced/strengthened engine, revving so highly on a standard engine will not do it any good. I have spoken to the seller about this, and his reply was.. well only rev it as high asn you want it to go..lol thats a silly statement, as im sure many of you on here regularly bounce the needle off the limiter! lol

    I've been looking at that too. The chap selling them said the engines were blueprinted.

    Not having £300-odd quid lying about at the mo' to buy a properly mapped chip I was going to try one of those 'Clio Cup' ones. I rarely go up to the limiter anyway. Unless someone gives me a really good reason for not getting one (like it's a actually a calculator chip and it'll turn my car into a Casio, or something) I'll try it and let you know.

    I was goning to post that up and ask about it to, good job i checked through the recent posts first!

    Maybe i'll keep saving for a proper chip then........ :(

    When you keep on hitting the rev limiter have you any idea of the grief the bottom end goes through with crank whip etc?
    Do not knock something until you try it.
