Car stalling on throttle?

Posted on behalf of my mate, his valver starts and idles ok but soon as you press the throttle it stalls? Any ideas?

TPS - throttle postion sensor?
does it do it from warm? cold? both etc...

haha yes it is! I was chatting 2 him earlier about it, I might drive over in mine and see if swapping some bits like the TPS over to his solves it.

this may sound really really stupid but remove the MAP sensor plug and check the terminals for corrosion

I have heard of this causing the problem before. But really it needs a live diagnosis....Have you got Pinky's number as I lost it. My phone sucks!
