Tesco sell a large plastic industrial style bucket for around 49p, get a garden funnel too and pop the old old in containers for legal disposal... i used some old big pop bottles (thick plastic) worked a treat.

If you have an old empty 5ltr oil container, screw the cap on, lay it on its side and use a stanley knife to cut a very large hole in it. there you have a reusable oil catcher, free of charge. when you have replaced your oil stick the (decent sized) funnel into the container, carefully unscrew your new oil catcher cap and pour used oil into the empty container for safe disposal. Make sure you heed drsmiths advice on disposal, you can loose your balls nowadays for poluting a water course.

Yep, being sensible don't feel right, pour it under your most hated neighbours car and watch it being trailored to a garage for no good reason

If you get big 5lb tubs of post-gym protein stuff then I think they're 6 litres in size and probably ideal when empty (as long as you kept them upright... lol)

ill dispose of it somehow dont worry. just changed spark plugs n fitted new air filter, took it for a quick drive, feels a bit better already. although a bit of of white smoke on start up :p
but afterwards drove fine no smoke or anything. just bout to do oil now - getting to the filter and the drain plug is a ball ache though. esp when u left ur axle stands at ur mums :S ill manage it though im sure. ;) ona chuck some of that oil fortifier in aswell, from forte - see how that goes.
