    help?

    my car has been sat for a week now

    had headwork and cams fitted and my garage is waiting for his mate to come and time the cams properly

    he hasnt shown up and im getting a bit fed up of driving the shitty merc automatic

    how hard is it to time them?

    how long does it take?

    what car are we talking.

    timing cams is a little complicated and you need a few right tools. a dial gauge and a angle gauge unless timing at tdc which will mean using a hydraulic tappet replacement to remove the play associated with hydraulic tappets.
