    Help!

Just a quick question... can you take the master cylinder and servo out with the engine in place? and if so what is the best way to do it?

we have just put the engine back in after replacing the gearbox and removing the ABS and really dont want to take it out again!

It can be done but it's helluva tight! Pull the lump cos it'll be easier.

On the 19 you remove the rear mount, disconnect the down pipe and pivot the lump forwards on the front mounts to gain better access from above. Not 100% sure how it's done on a Clio i'm afraid as there's nowhere near as much room under the bonet but it can't be too disimilar a process. I'm guessing you'd need to support the engine on a beam, remove the mounts & downpipe then slide the bugger as far forward as possible.

unless you've filled the rad & box up i'd pull it... it's not a hard job when you've done it a few times.
