hid lights

iv got a little problem with my new hid's :S, i turn on the car and turn on the lights! side lights come on fine, dipped come on fine then main beam comes on fine, then if i put it back to dipped beam then back onto main beam sometimes the main beam doesnt work:S it only seams to work if i turn off the lights get out open the bonnet fiddle about with the controler socket get back in while the bonnet is open turn lights on again! everything is now workin even flash(main beam) but then if i close the bonnet or even close my door the main beam doesnt wanna work!!! lol help!!!

maybe you have an earthing problem, give it better earth and see
