Hi chaps
This is the 2nd time someone has actually assumed my car is a williams, and only another mk1 clio owner in a petrol station identified it as a valver when trying to sell me parts lol.
Just thought it was kinda funny really.

I always get it "is that a williams mate?" my reply "cant you read the door badges?" (1.2)
Mines grey with black wheels and i get asked- not even close! 449ers have an excuse lol
I've got a few reciepts on my 449 J plater, from *Renault* garages, where the car is listed as "Clio Williams 1.8"
lol, nice... 1.8 williams :D Can imagine it on ebay listing now... 2 litre was replaced by the higher revving 1.8 engine for tuning potential ;)
Matthew
Same always get the 'is that a williams?'
At least you don't get the "Nice Skyline Mate!" when your driving a S14a 200SX! Totally different car, but still built by Nissan.
No wonder the guy on the phone said yesterday when thinking it was a Williams, "I bet it shifts with that engine". Now I realise what he was thinking... but I was thinking I wish it would shift lol.
Matthew
When my car broke down I had the dreaded...'you do know the williams is exactly the same as the 1.8 - just its bored out right?'.... oh dear.
I always get it :(
I dont bother explaining the hybrid thing lol.
