    Front Bumper on Pins

    Anyone done this?

    Anything i should look out for, planning on doing it on the track car.

    Summeh's cup car has a pinned front bumper.

    Looks like a good job ~ If anyone has details on what is required I too would be interested Looks like a very good "mod" for the Rally car.

    i want to use aerocatch's unsure if they will fit ok.

    It's very easy, you just need to drill 4 holes in the metal bumper bar underneath, two either side, and two on the front either side. Bolt your pins in, slot the bumper and jobs a gooden.

    It makes working on the front of the car a lot easier, bumper comes off within a few seconds.

    Would have thought a rally car would already have this rod? Do the back bumper as well while your at it

    Are you using six pins to hold the bumper on?

    Yes, sorry I missed the bit about the front ones being done two on either side as well. 8 pins sounds like overkill to me though. Think I'll go with Lunner's method as it looks like you can get away with just 4.
