    Quick help needed please

i had a new alternator fitted in November and the battery was re-charged.

This evening the car wouldn't start. The wipers seemed very slow and the dashboard lights were alot dimmer than normal. the clifford alarm was also acting the goat, going off and that.

do i need a new battery?

Depends when you last used the car, just sounds dead, charge it up and should be fine

Charge it up and see what happens

If it runs down again check the fan belt tension, and all connections to battery and alternator, but if thats all ok, sounds like it just isn't holding the charge.....or you got a dodgy alternator fitted

Halfords will give you a free battery test to tell how dead it is!

Then go to GSF for a cheaper battery than halfords lol (or so I hear!)
