    Will 16v crank fit the Williams block ?

    Will 16v crank fit the Williams F7R block ?

    yes and the williams block is stronger

    But it will only give you 1.8 capacity as the throw on the williams crank is longer....same as the 1.9D item iirc

    its for a turbo engine
    i thinking of the 1.9 diesel crank or the 1.8 16v

    1.9 diesel crank will give you the same throw as a williams

    if you use the 1.8 crank with the shorter throw then the compression will be lower, ideal if you are turbo converting! Only thing is the squish area will be affected so might affect the performance.

    Diesel crank is good and strong if not a little heavy?

    diesel crank is an upgrade on the williams item as the got lighter over time...

    so i,m informed.

    difference in piston height is about 5mm so will be a very low compression.

    the diesel crank is essentially the same but been told its lighter and slightly better design, how true that is i dunno lol!
