    Light Clutch Conversion

    Looking to use the 172 clutch bits for a light clutch

    But Renault are showing 2 part numbers for the fork

    anyone know a part number that works? (and rough prices?)

    Get yourself t a scrappy and steal the parts off a megane, my old dears R reg 1.6 has this on, and the R19 mount

    Apparently the standard airbox won't fit with the longer clutch fork though.

    i had to buy the fork, release bearing, bracket etc for mine

    not sure about the 2 part numbers tho, i just gave him the reg of a ph1 and told him what i wanted, one thing i will say tho is that if they give you a price for the fork and bearing together (ie packaged as one) chances are you will only get the fork in the packet

    i found this out as the fork kept arriving at the dealers with the bag split open and the bearing removed. turned out the bearing had been superceeded by another one, but instead of putting the new one in the bag they just left it out.

    oh and the new bearing costs just as much as the original fork and bearing put together!
