    Williams steering column removal

I have the play in the steering so am changing the column, everything is off/loose but i cant get the column out.. Its all completely loose (2 main bolts/2 nuts, all the stalks/steering wheel is off, the nut is off the joint where it goes on the rack,(do i have to take the bolt out?) i've unclipped the little C shaped clip on the underside of the column. Have i missed something? or is it a case of just pull it hard/wiggle it out? as far as i can see there is nothing left to take off lol
    Any advice?
    thanks
    :D
