The weight of a Willy gearbox?

Hey chaps,

Am just wondering if anyone knows the weight of a JC5 gearbox?

The reason I'm asking is I've just bid on and won a box and am trying to work out if it would be cheaper to pick it up or get the thing couriered to my house.

I think my JB3 was about 40kg?


can't see the JC5 being much different

Had a few renault boxes through my work (a courier) and yeh theyre about 40 to 50kg. I'd say cheaper to pick up.

bloody heavy when you are trying to jiggle it into place, thats for sure!!!
