dash temp light

what bulb will i need for the dash temp,seems to be a bit fading,just unscrew top of dash to change ?

Remove top of the dash (the 5 torque screws), remove the 2 top torque screws from the speedo cluster and there are also 2 screws under the cluster (get down in drivers side foot well and look up under the plastic cover. Remove speedo cable, this should then give you enough room to pull the unit forward to replace the dodgy bulb. I'm not sure of the make of bulb needed but hellfrauds or halfords as they like to be known should stock these

so it's sounds like the bulb then ? where's the temp sensor located
