How good are these things?

There is one for sale not far from me which i'm finding tempting as my RT is developing an oil leak.

Apparently timing belt and gearbox have been replaced...

Your thoughts?

if its the rover turbo then yeh they definatley go, my mate has 1 that reaches 150+ easy, his suspension is dropped on its arse so is very bumpy and cant do speedbumps and is probably the same speed as the willy upto 110ish

Yep its the turbo - 94 model with 60k/600 BIN or 400 starting bid....lot of car for the money by the looks of it.

I'm tempted but don't know if i should...my RT is dropping oil but i have already gathered goodies to fix/improve it.

Same engine as the 220 Turbo? They are quick, but handling isnt their forte. If it's a spare car consider the MPG on them as I seem to remember it's not good.
