Any ideas why my box doesn't have this hole?

The one at the back that bolts the strap on over the mount, everything else is identical to a clio one

that hole is standard on all 16v/willy boxes, surely?

Yeah as above but without the hole and the raised bit for the hole

iirc my old 16v box didnt have that section either, just a bolt hole for the earth wire,

both current jc5 and jb boxs have that as in your pic, no idea why the other didnt, can u not pinch another casing?

I can swap that half of the casing from my old ****ed 16v box, you recon its gonna make that much of a difference if i've got the R19 lower mount as well?

I've had to earth the wire on the back to one of the bolts holding the mount onto the box

its up to you, ive not used the bracket for awhile tbh, although it is going on the new box!

I'll leave it for now till i've had chance to **** about with the 16v boxes, worst case i'm gonna have to swap the casing anyway
