    ic and pistons

    Rony is nearly finished i carnt wait to drive him!

    Heres a few piccys-

    good work! how are you routing the boost pipework for the front mount, has it involved much chopping for i/c itself and the pipes?

    Have the barrels been honed on that block?

    What Gasket are you using there?

    The pipes havnt been fitted yet they are being done on the same day as the downpipe is done, didnt need to take much away just ground the bumper down alittle!
    Ill post a pic of pipes when they have been fitted!

    Gasget is from bbpt, Yea the block has been rebored to fit the the over sized pistons.

    are you running an air cooled oil cooler or the normal water cooled oil cooler.

    What pressure are you gonna be running, as that's a fairly small intercooler for a 2 litre engine.

    Crossers asked if the block had been honed, not rebored. Honing is setting up the surface of the metal to be 'worn in' as such (stan will tell you more), Reboring is merely enlarging the diameter. Do not run your engine if it has ONLY been rebored. You need to get it honed to be safe. (you normally tend to see honing as cross hatching in the bores (which does not look present in yours, hence why I think Crossers asked about it).
