    focus RS

Just interested in peoples thoughts/opinions on the focus RS, anyone been in one/had one? what do you think of them? Think i'll be trading the williams in for one of these next, want something newer and more reliable, oh yeah, and with potential to tune

The RS fits the bill for me!

ive driven my mates FRS, its now around the 270-280bhp mark and is easy to control, ppl say they have bad torque steer but they dont, as said ive driven it too and its no worse then any other fwd car with abit of power!

the brakes are fantastic and it handles supurb, also have the ATB diff which helps!

I like the focus RS's alot but they are way out of my budget, they seem to hold their money well...

Cool, you seem to hear a lot about the torque steer on them being a bit of a nightmare and there a pain to drive, maybe this is just the opinions of the soft ass's, probably find them quite challenging and rewarding to drive i would have thought, was reading an article on them the other day, it was saying experts reckon that prices wont drop much below 12k in the future, result

heres a pic of one i found on the net

My mate looked into getting one and the maintenance costs were pretty high! I've never driven one but they look like nice cars. Im not really into Fords so i wouldnt go and buy one personally but can see the appeal.

from what i've read up on them so far, there said to be very reliable, a bit thirsty perhaps when driven proper, insurance is only £100 more for a 12k car than a williams, cant work that one out but thats a swaying factor to get one

there a group 16 insurence, its cheaper for me to insure a frs then my williams!

i think my mates now has 32k on it and has been spot on, we took it france last year and it was fine,

i know the tyres are not cheap being 18s but the pads/discs can be found for a reasonable price(considering there 330mm brembo 4pots etc)

as said about torque steer, there fine, ive driven his at around 250bhp and its easy enough to drive! dont feel no different to my 182 with that!
