    question on clutch pedal assembly

I put up a question about my clutch pedal biting right on the floor since i changed the cable, and had answers saying i needed a new assembly.

I have just been reading more topics on it, and noticed Mat Brown said on one answer did they reset the mechanism first, How do i do this, as it could just be that, save me going through the hassle of changing it?

    Hope someone can help?

I'm assuming by restting he means it'll ratchet back up to the tension point but from what you've said it still to me looks like the pedals worn, they reset mine to allow it re ratchet and it was still shit.

Regardless of whether its fooked or not its a very worthwhile mod to do you'll find it a lot easier to drive and at the end of the day you'd only be putting off the inevitable

I would have thought when you take the cable off that would reset the mech?
