    sorry for silly question, but please help

    been watchin this forum for a few weeks now guys n gals,

    just bought myself a williams 3 and thanks to all the knowledge gained here i knew what to look for in a good car and a duff

    anyhow got the car home and just a few silly ods n sods that need sorted to set the car right, except for 1 thing i cant figure out lol

    the aux belt is slipping sometimes, more often when its wet, but i cant for the life of me find the tensioner

    can comeone please point me in the right direction, as to where it is located and how hard it is to get to??

    yes mate there is a large tensioner on the belt. its a large nut held in place by a 7mm allen key. undone the key adjust tension using big nut tighten allen key. its a bitch to get to though.

    i understand what you mean with the tensioner thanks, any pointers on where exactly it is tho, lol

    From what i remember of doing mine, i found it easiest to whip out the drivers headlight and go in through there..

    under neath the engine mounts just above the chassis rail.



    tensioners is the small one

    sorry i cant find a edit button, just wanted to say i got it sorted,
    thanks again to the helpful guys on this forum, :P

    and yeah the job was 10x times easier , removing the drivers headlight to gain access, id recommend this method to anyone ...
