sorting out plastic bits.....

started to look at restoring the plastic bits on my Williams....

However - have found that a previous owner in their wisdom has painted over the black bits with grey paint!!!!!

Has anyone come across this classy exercise before??

If so, how do I rectify this and get the materials looking as they should??

u might be wrong mate? the williams ones were always bad for the BLACK parts(especially the scuttle panel) fading to GREY over the years..

do what big hp does and get some autoglym trim gel and scrub it into the surface using a toothbrush..

it may take a few weeks and coats to get it looking good again tho..

if they have been painted then im not to sure what to do???

buy new bits. once painted u cant rly un paint them.

paint them in halfrauds black plastic paint.. simple!

deffo been painted - can see the brush marks..... so it's new bits or painting them black then.....
