Oil flow in the engine -HELP!

Tech guys can you help advise.

How can you check that you have the correct pressure and oil flow around the engine?
Is the oil pump working correctly?
    Can it be changed?

    Thanks

you can plug an external oil pressure gauge in. thats about it really.

you can fit a new pump at about 130 quid but its not easy.

i,ve got one in. runs 6 bar on start up above 3000rpm.
drops to just under 1bar when hot on tickover and that with external oil cooler

    Which oil are you using?
Pressure will differ from one oil to the other.
