    dogbone mount change

    after snapping a gearbox mount decided i should do all my mounts done the gearbox and top one now.

    just tiggersealed a dogbone mount but cant fit it

    undone the old dogbone mount but the bolts wont come out as the manifold is in the way anyone know how to get round this without taking the manifold off ? and it on a valver by the way

    your bolts been fitted the wrong way around mate.....might be able to remove the cat and swing the downpipe over to get acsess ?

    thats annoying couldnt move the manifold enough might have to cut them then to get them out as my downpipe bolts are useless

    Only 2 bolts holding the downpipe on? Take those off then just shove the exhaust out the way.

    one of my manifold bolts is bit chewed i think o could get it off but the one furthest from the battery i cant even get to anyone know how to get to it ?

    From underneath car. Get on your back use a long extension(s) possibily a UJ. That's how i do mine.

    angle grind the bolts off for the dobone, then use new ones

    grinding them off sounds like a good option but midge said they are ment to go that way and if they dont go back in that way they will knock on the manifold

    should go that way as the heads slimmer than the bolt and nut.

    on my one there was enough space to remove both bolts, and put them in anyway you wanted, but they must be put in the correct way to avoid knocking..
