My Williams v BWM (think a 325 but not sure)

Up a slip road onto the M1. I was short shifting at between 5 and 5.5k. Kept with him until about 80 where he started to pull away to about 100 where i stopped accelerating.

Bearing in mind he was in front and started accelerating first, i thought i did ok. :D

Well i have another 2k available but my engine is still new so i had to short shift.

Whats wrong witht that?

Surely it was more than a 325. Ive had a few head to heads with 325's in the valver and can stick with one to a ton. Your willy is faster than my valver. Well, i quess you were short shifting

To be fair he booted it when i was at 1.5k revs too, which meant i instantly lost alot of ground.

As we pulled onto the motorway i was ready to go past him put he swapped to the outside lane before me so i had to feather the throttle and maybe could have got along side him.

Plus once he was infront i backed off a fair bit as i dont like the stone chip action associated with rwd cars.
