Is my williams chipped? or what?

Rght i brought the williams saturday now i read they are limited to 6500 but mine revs to 7000 cleanly no puffing etc. Now i'm not sure on the history of the car as it was stolen and recovered in the past

    the ecu codes a re

    S101262105a

    HOM7700851741
    BVM
    7700857528

    Bar code 2104317527/91309

Any help gents? it doesnt look like anything has been soldered on the circuit board... though if it has they were bloody neat.

    ecu.....

    Cheers Paul.

Northys williams revs to 7k as well when its warmed up and his isn't chipped i believe.

6500 is "normally" the williams limit.

Mine varies. Goes higher when fully warm. ~6.8-6.9k

Bit like the 172/182's. Their limit raises when fully warm.

sounds standard to me.....You can nudge the limiter forwards once the oil temp goes up. Sometimes mine has good days where i can get near seven, then others its 6500

rite after more testing it seems to rev to 7,300... maybe the ecu was stolen before or something and replaced with a 16v one? it runs perfect no flat spots etc its odd????
