Stinky steering

Well, getting the steering noise(s) looked at this week. Just gonna get an available day off to do it and jobs a goodun... now... do I get the Friday off and have a long weekend... at the risk of the car not being fixed (should still drive though, as it does now...) or do it ASAP and get tomorrow off if I can???
