Audi quatro, pug 306, cellica , laguna vs williams & valver
was an RS turbo aswell but woudlnt fit in the topic ;)

Went for a little spin with summy last night, just crusing and saw this RS Escort giving it a bit of stick, so not to be out done thought i would give him a little supprise, were comming out of town onto the ring road and he was 3up and i was 2up with summy in the williams behind. He booted it off the round about, i kept it in second and i did the same, stuck to his arse all the way up the ring road till about 100 ish hitting the limiter in every gear and fluffed in 3rd oppz i need to work on those changes ( with summy way back and then making his move to come up along side me) didnt beat him but was matched on the performance as he didnt gain anything(even with my fluff up), summy would have mashed him but was busy sleeping lol and came racing up behind about 5 seconds later when he realised what awas going off. Deffo need that 2L lump now summy's williams just leaves me for dead lol ;(

The driving out of town again about 30 mins after that spot a Laguna with full kit on it (looking rather crap in prima still) so decided to head out of town again and he followed us out and on the way we are joined by a rather nice looking quattro.
There is a speed camera just on the motorway as you leave town so its a rolling start till the camera at 40 then drop the hammer and go for it. So at this point we have a Quattro vs me and Laugna vs Summy get to the cam and we suddenly have a white van come out from no where! (white van man strikes again!) so the race is on, Second gear up to 60 white van man disapears in about 3 seconds flat bringing up the rear somewhere with that laguna, not sure but he was way back lol and im along side the quattro with summy stuffed up my ass probably on his breaks, up to about 60 pulled about 1/2 a length on the quattro and then whilst being distracted by the quattro, drivers bird who was waving(she was fit) managed to fluff a gear :S again 2 times in 1 night :( oopz, after looking stupid managed to recover and leave him for dead, as i pulled away in 3rd (as i watch the guy trying to jump his car faster! boucing away in the seat lol) but i thought that quattro should have been a bit quicker then it was... took it up to about 100 and he was way back, pulled it in to let summy and the quattro over take, then they went for it about 30 seconds later im doing 70 and the laguna comes past giving it all he had not sure where he had been, but it wasnt with us, dropped a gear down to 4th, decided to give him a little chase but yet again he didnt have anything and dropped back again. (Summy talked to him at the lights and it turned out to be a 1.8 16v and the guy had made the kit himself, it showed he made it himself too!).

We then pulled in for a little rest break and i had to let the engine cool as my oil presure hit 0! doh! (10w 40 elf stuff, it cant take the heat need some fully synth)
After a little cooling and a small drive through town, we managed to find a celica 2.0, i didnt get to give him a go due to being boxed in by 3 taxi's :( but he did give summy a nice run, From the speed camera again i just watched from behind the wall of taxi's as i saw summy pull about 5 lengths on him in a matter of seconds, it was all over

After that we decided to call it a night and head back home...
But after dropping the williams back and summy joining us in the valver so now 3 up, saw a done up 306, he was just crusing a long at about 65 so i just passed him doing 75 and thought nothing of it, about 2 mins later i see him comming up behind fast so i let him pass and dropped it into 4th gave a little chase, it started raining quite hard so i backed off a little as 3up rain and corners are not a good mix, he pulled alittle on us but he must have slowed up too as he didnt get to far, we started slowing for a round about and i out braked him and begain realing him in,shoved it in 2nd and gave it everything, had torque steering out of the round about and closed the gap of about 5 car lengths on him, up to 3rd still gaining quite fast, 4th up to about 110, then 5th as we went past with him stairing in the window ( he didnt look to happy, i mean would you with gay pink lexus lights and blue neons) then i gave it everything it had and he dropped about 10 car lengths, came to another round about and thought well i will see how well the valver can handle, went in doing about 45in 3rd, droped it into second and managed to get the tail out and drift it around with the throttle jamed to the floor, hit 3rd at 60 comming off other side of the round about with the pug no where to be seen, he just coudlnt take those corners ;) slowed back down to 70 ish to find him comming up fast, when i decided enough and time to drop my mate off, pulled off at the next round about back into town ( beauty of the ring road all roads lead into the same place ) he sat on my ass as i pulled into a housing estate, i thought i didnt wanna race him much more, he headed off back into town, dropped off my mate and me and summy took a nice steady drive home at about 30 to reflect on the nights fun... was about 4am by then but a dam fun night, and my 1st time of really giving the valver some stick, normaly summy will tell you i drive at the speed limit and around like a granny !
slower then stromba, doubtful if my engine gets above 4k rpm usualy.

Wasnt a bad night and the valver is totaly standard even has a paper filter !
although have a ram air box sitting in the shed atm and hopfully brun will be bringing me a itg to fcs, so we shall see if it gets any more power ;)
hopfully when i get the cash will sort out new exhaust and manifold maybe cams and pullys if i feel flush, will keep my eye out for a nice cheep 2L lump to rebuild tho just incase

awesome night ... thumbs up from the laguna, celica and quattro was expecting them to be abusive/rude but was pleasantly suprised, guess they was just out for a laugh at the end of the day aswell :D

was a good fun night out, burned a lot of fuel
