    Chip fitting?

    hey all,

I soldered a chip carrier onto a old ECU yesterday and have a chip to fit into it.

When i put it in, does it just push in? when I tried it seemed a bit loose, and I am worried it would fall out?

Its OK, I realised it just pushes in.....was just not pushing hard enough for fear of damaging it.

What gains you get with the chip? It make a good bit of a difference?

What they cost also and where from?
