    supersprint cracked!

    Crap...

    Right on number 3 join to head flange. Quite a weird place to go I think. Could do with northy's little mounting plate, as obviously flexing to much there under the weight of the exhaust.

    Anyone else had it go there?

    Least it's an easy weld.

    Woo could get into production with these brackets....

    Ive seen a few now.

    Im making a bracket for 0171 this weekend...i might see if i have enough metal left to do you one.

    Please do mate, I intend to wip the manifold off after the weekend.

    Will get the manifold wrapped as well while it's off.

    How are you going to make the bracket attach to the downpipe/manifold? The bolts used to "pinch" the manifold over the downpipe are pretty pants.

    unlucky....just realised you have a supersprint....nothing i can do mate as andys is a prowler.

    must be able to make a support bracket using the starter motor bracket off the back of the block.

    If it was me mate - when u get the manifold welded - get a bracket welded direct to it which supports and fits to the block.
