    oversize pistons

    hey guy's

I'm building a F7P turbo block and is about to order forged pistons
Now i was told that the STD bore sizes whur the same prize as the oversize ones (82.5 or 83 mm bore).

now my question is can the block handle high boost if you make the cylinders bigger?

    i'm thinking about using a T3/T4 turbo

hope you can help me out.

    tnx

there are three sizes available. 82mm 82.5mm and 83mm. all can handle high boost applications.

no mate i'm talking about the block itself

when you are using oversize pistons you have to make your cylinders bigger. now the bigger the cylinder the thinner the edge of the cylinder will become.

can the block handle the highboost?

yes mate i,m running bigger pistons and high boost. does not really increase capacity much though so just go up to the next size you need.

i dont mean the pistons bt the block itself

when you use oversize pistons you got to make your cylinders bigger.
the bigget the Whole the smaller the cylinderwall will become.
now can those thin cylinderwalls handle high boost?

    pressure of a T3/T4
