Castle Combe Track Day in the Valliams

Was a good day and I just wish I had my Remap and Eagle F1 tyres on instead of the Uniroyals

In order of passing;
-Nissan 200sx
-Rover 200 V6
-Fiesta XR2
-Volvo V70
-Renault Laguna?
-Toyota MR2 Mk1 Turbo? (flaming like a mother)
-Rover 220 Turbo

Looks like the 200sx let you pass. You had more trouble passing the Rover 220 than the 200sx. (Looked standard form though), a slightly modded one will hand your ass to you on a plate (although there is a tendency among track uses to run the standard wheels and tyres on 200's.. very bizarre.

What sort of track day was that, as noone indicates to say you can pass? Looks like some nice driving however, a lot of people get caught out at combe especially at quarry.

He let him pass because he was getting in his way. You'd be surprised how well a Mk1 could push a slightly modded 200SX on the track

It's an Action Day. Just like Trax basically. You can overtake on the right which is a great idea. Although there are supposed to be areas where you're not supposed to...

I would really like to see some clio's on track (in person) though. I have always liked the underdog Perhaps my negative side/disbelief just comes from the clio (valver though, not williams), feeling severly underpowered.

I also assume that his car was stripped out?

And agree... track days are fun. I had intended to turn my 200sx into a pure track car, but sold it in favour of a house/ all new our furniture / new bed / wedding. Was halfway there so really gutted. Might end up doing a clio (or similar) if it can be made more powerful as it seemingly has potential going from the vid.
