    Standard port sizes...

anybody have a clue what the standard sizes are for the inlet and outlet ports on the 1.8 16v head?

Just going to get to the bottom of this engine i have, maybe break it down, as i wana be able to answer peoples questions the best i can

just cause it has verniers on it doesn't mean the cams are a super spec, could just be for show

difficult to tell as the ports are overly large any way and most work is done in the throat seat area so measuring ports is not really going to tell you much but they will be really smooth with a narrow knife edge between ports. don,t really fit verniers for show as you can,t see them once installed in the car.
