    Side exit exhausts

    Is it easy to make one up youself??

    do u take it from De-cat back??

    and also how is the best way to hang one???

    help would be muchos appriciated

    depends on noise really. you could remove the cat and get a two box system. or cat bypass and one box. also you need a few new hangers added. bet any exhaust place could make one.

    well the car its going on is now going to e a permanent track car so getting rid ojavascript:emoticon('')
    Laughingf the cat is not a problem!!!!

    not too fussede on noise as long as it passes the desabel (sp) test at track days

    yes thats why it might need two boxes as track limits are quite strict. 98db,s i think.

    boxes are the bits that are not pipes really. the boxes as such are the items that absorb the noise. so usually a quiet system has more or better sound absorbing boxes on a system. standard clio system are either two or even three boxes. can,t remember now. my system has two boxes. if your running a side exit you will prob need to get the normally rear box installed some where else in the system before the exit too keep noise levels sensible,

    kool cheers dude i think i understand now, so if i get a standard valver backbox, chop some piping up, get the welder out, weld the backbox onto the piping and extend the pipe from the backbox to the side of the car?

    yes. valver two box system fitted into the middle and fitted hangers then side exit it.
