    Valver vs Golf

Was minding mine own buisness yesterday when some guy and his mrs in a newish Golf came flying up behind me(thought it was a gti turbo like my mates). I could see that i was gonna end up racing him down the dc. Just coming up, indicating left on to the new bypass neer me,gave it all on the left hander on to the dc :D . Nailed it through 2nd and pulled about 2 car lengths. It stayed like that all the way to 125mph and then i let off the throttle as i was coming to the end of the road. I was quite happy with myself at this point cuz i thought i held it off pretty well and he wasnt gaining. Anyway, next bit of dc which is a 50mph limit. I moved over and let him cruise past. Looked at the back to see TDI. Gutted lol. Must of been the 150bhp like cuz i would whoop the 130.

Was just lookin at some performance figures and the Tdi 150 is the same sort of spec as my mates gti turbo . My valver is the same pace as that but quicker off the mark :D

Dude know how you feel. I was behind one as the road turned in to m-way the other day and he was going quite slow. I was in no rush so thought nothing of it. then came the puff ofsmoke and off he went. Twat caught me on the hop.

Anyway I caught him up in traffic and then as we went across a m-way roundabout and there was more traffic he gunned it again when I wasn't expecting ti. ****ing bandit. He didn't get away from me 'til I decided that !20 was a bit much given the m-way runs out at a se of lights!

That was a GT TDI which is the 150bhp version I think.

    The 150hp TDI's are only 3 door the 5 door GTTDI is a 130.
However there almost the same engine both get ~180 on stock remap and 190 with custom remaps. Its the torque which makes them fast. the clucth is the limiter for torque so most people only have 300lb torque thats at 2k which is 130hp at 2k.

On here the there is a gt tdi 130, 140 and 150. The 150 is more like Valver performance so im guessing it was that.
