    Vibration Problem - Need Help

after collecting my fixed car today i have a problem

im getting a vibration at around 1.5-2.5k revs, its not a heatshield to engine mosquito type vibration, its a proper vibration, and sounds very similar to when the down pipe touches the dogbone

however, Andy @ GDI had it up on the ramps and we looked over everything and couldnt see where it could be coming from, the downpipe is miles away from the dogbone (i think i have a 19 downpipe)

could it be an engine mount or something ?........i cant actually see anything close to anything, it all looks fine

when the car is cold its not as bad, once it warms up it seems to come a lot more but that could just be me really ive not had much chance to have a look

on the motorway on the way home if i was at 60/70 i couldnt feel/hear it, if i dropped down the revs low it would come, if you put the clutch in it goes

if the side-mount isnt positioned right, the manifold may be rubbing the bulk-head lower down.

    worth a check.

Not a 19 downpipe -you'd need to chop the clio centre pipe back a fair bit!

exhaust hangars in good nick mate? tend to flex when they get warm when they are old/worn giving exhaust enough play to start knockin on all sorts when ur pullin torque

i'd concentrate on the fact that it only does it when moving and goes when you dip your clutch.
