How to remove stripped sunroof bolts ???

Unfortunalty i have a sunroof subframe thats got a few stripped bolts in that just turn.

Im going to dremel the heads of the bolt off - but before i do - what other suggestions are there to remove them.

Once removed im going to glue in new brass inserts.

Will heating the bolts so they expand a bit not work? Might be worth a try, otherwise would think you'll have to drill the out?

I just get the air ratchet on them and buzz them off, sometimes have to wiggle them a bit while doing it to get them free.

so does the wiggling brake the rust / seiezed bolt - or just alloy it to pull away with the boss on ????

happened to me.. use a pair of mole grips and pull out...the thread will be broke anyway if its spinning

Just pulls it away with the insert attached.
