    dodgy rev counter

    my rev counter works when it wants to some times needle jumps all over the place any 1 got any idea what it could be??how r these connected just cables to a sensor?

    lol...I had the same problem, Mat supplied me with a rev counter and I just swopped the 'brain' at the back over....Bob's your uncle working fine and dandy.... :D

    how hard r they to get the dials out it looked tricky. and matt u got any more rev counters for sale?

    Not that hard at all.. most difficult bit is getting the speedo cable off, and even then, it's not too bad but you just scratch ya hand a bit!

    Think Mat does have another rev counter.. but not a Williams one, so you'd need to fiddle with it so you use the main rev counter bit and not the front, I'm guessing.
