    nurburg proposed route

    ok 1st getting to calais around 9.30 local time then doing the 100k journey to ypres in belgium, its lovely and ive been before


    staying there the 1 night then heading up to amsterdam/rotterdam at about 10/11 ish the next day its a 250ks and should take around 3 hours


    again stay there a night then heading down to germany the next day its about 4.30 hours drive



    thats it so far anyway, comments please

    we need to come back through switserland always wanted to go there

    not too far from the ring

    and stop over ... 1 night always wanted to drive the winding roads of the swiss alps like the italian job lol

    Looks good to me, too much driving in one day is too tiring, so good that its not covering loads of miles in a day.

    Aye andy Jon said you wanted to come back that way thats why i ddint plan the return leg as didnt know if there was a specific route you wanted to go down.

    I thought for the one nighters can get a cheap hotel, i know one in ypres ive stayed in before, its called park de moulin or something, its next to a load of windmills, rotterdam i guess will be a few then camping or something at the ring?
    im not sure leaving claire to them arangements lol

    just out of interest guys... Zandvoort circuit

    If you get as far as amsterdam then you could go to look at Zandvoort as it is on the coast (not far from Haarlem as i remember)
    I blagged my way on many years ago and got to do three laps in our hired mini bus at lunchtime! (long story, but there was a trackday on that day.) BUT GOOD FUN CIRCUIT. :D

    mileage is soundin a bit better now too lol...


    would it not be better to go hull rotterdam tho??

    jus a suggestion lol.would cut out the calais-dam run out then too. but dam- ypres.ypres-ring.??

    mite even save a bt on juice too.as 1 or 2 have made an input on mpg.......martin lol
