Clio 225 Turbo

Anyone else heard rumours of this? Clio 197 with a Megane 225 engine, and a limited-slip diff' too. Would be

Would be very surprised if they did do it to be honest. Although I did read it in Autocar so it must be true

Didn't Yozza have a look into puiing it in a 182 shape but the mounts were totaly different and the box was to big. Maybe the 197 is totaly different...


But remember you can fit "anything" in a clio with enough time and money

it would probably go straight in the 197 as it uses the same wide face block as the 225 and the gearboxes are probably the same,nissan gearboxes i think

im sure they showed a pic of a clio on Top Gear on sunday with the the F1 drivers standing round it??

that looked like something a bit more special than a normal 197

yeh they said it had a stiffer chassis than the normal one poss new trophy??

That is the new one with the diff. Renault have said there will be other changes to be announced but seeing as they have just released the Megane version I can't see them bringing this out

Same power, but with different springs, dampers, wheels. Plus sexy Recaro seats and some natty F1 graphics.

A turbo version will be a loooong way off, if at all...

I'd rather have a new 197 cup racer lol they're stunning cars cheap as chips too.
