    £35. Interesting.

So what exactly does it do. Smoother power delivery, increased limiter, better mpg? Is it mapped for like a standard setup or some uber car with cams, etc?

    Hard to fit?

    Cheers.

I've got a BBR chip in mine. It had an increased limiter and mapped for IK and decat. Gave a bit more oomph in the mid range and the increased limiter was very noticeable. Didn't notice any mpg gains, if anything was slightly worse but maybe due to how I then drove it. Not sure whether they are all the same chip though.

As for fitting if you have an ECU with the chip in a holder then you can just swap it over, but as standard I think the Renault original chips are soldered straight onto the ECU board, so you would need to desolder and then solder in a holder for it (no point soldering the new one straight into the board unless you were sure you never wanted to return to standard).

Well worth the money being talked about here, in my opinion, but then fitting could be an issue if you are not handy with a soldering iron. If you do a search you will probably find a post that explains a bit more about fitting and you can decide whether to tackle it or get someone else to do it?
