    new front discs n pads - cheapin like a bird

    called to see lee n nyk
    and lee kindly put my new front discs n pads on (thanks a lot lee)
    but havin drove it its cheapin like a bird
    at first i ignored it but its bloody loud u can hear it over the car while driving
    is there something i can do to make them quiet again ?
    it'll be embarising if i leave it

    take it the pads were well coppergreased


    not a rite lot else u can do tbh mate....they used to sell anti-squeel kits for certain cars/pads years ago.....not sure if they dow like....they were just like tin plate cut to shape of back of pad.

    no they wernt copper greased
    so i guess it will help if i copper grease them

    nah, back side of the pad between carrier and back of pad

    non come with the new pads so dont have any fitted

    copper grease will sort it

    was going to ask what pads have u got - some racing pads squeal til they are hot

    but - yes - u need to grease them

    Make sure you grease the right side :P
