    i want another one :(

    after selling my hybrid to martin and watchin on many many vids bout how much fun he had,really makes me want another one,or a wlly,but thing is i must be gettin too old coz workin for vw and owning my vr6 the comfort is nice and parts are easy to get,god im boring lol,question is how much am i lookin at to get a decent willy these days?

    3k upwards i'd say for a decent williams.

    Got any pics of the vr6? I went through a stage of really wanting one. Very nearly bought a dusty mauve R plate highline.

    Buy a valver, strip it to the max, williams engine it and track the mofo

    thats what i did when i owned L765 GYW although it went alot more stripped when martin got hold of it lol

    come to think of it iv still got the interior out of her!

    she not bad 197 bhp 193 lbs ft torque, 0-60 6.52 and tops out at gps 147mph

    tbh....my mate had a vr6......same shape as urs mate.....had a colour concept trim in it.....comfy??????? like fuk lol

    even he said the williams was loads comfier. lol. slidin about evrywhere under anything other than slow slight bends...terrible.

    reliability tho he had it over 3 years and never had a bit of trouble with it.

    speed wise.....id rape him till id been bouncin off the limiter in top for 10 mins...then hed come steamin past me lol.


    a williams can be stripped....and still used as an evryday car....mine , now fitted with rear seats...will be used for the school run evry mornin......no carpets....no sound deadening....5 mins work to take from evryday 5 seater to track car 2 seater (buckets n harnesses up front....lad loves it lol)....


    as for how much u lookin at for a willy.......well.i spose that depends on how much work u wanna do urself tbh.....0051 cost me 800..sale of trim an a few other bits stands it at 500. couple hours work with the welder , and an engine change( after blowin the original on the way home ) and it now has 12 months mot n tax.. give it another few hundred quid an itl look like any of the 2-3k ones knockin about condition wise...........albeit with slightly less interior lol.

    yea the golf is comfy mate,running on avo coilovers so hadles good too


    cant make up my mind thats me prob i think lol

    No bad......mine went for 1650 btw....missed out there

    Only thing that does my head in with these cars is the rust....172 cups are tempting.
