    leaky sunroof fix

    sombody has to tell me how to fix this!

    car is starting to get wet!

    depends where its leaking. sometimes you need to remove the frame and reseal this and sometimes its the glass leaking. need to pin this down first really. can you sit in the car and get someone to spray it with a hose. or do you still have a hosepipe ban.

    wip out the inner seal that seals glass to frame, wash it thoroughly with warm water then coat it in vaseline, if that doesnt stop it then its frame out time and reseal that to the metal of the roof with silicone sealant

    it is the inner seal that goes or when you have not used sunroof for a bit the seal stickes to glass and it pulls the seal out ..

    cheak seal first around sunroof frame

    just so you know ' your not alone ' mynes leaky too but all seems to collect in the interior light bit at the front then leak out when the cars moving :S any ideas?

    will try removing all seals and see where i get"!

    Thats probably your ariel, mine did that, tightened ariel really hard, job done.

    im guessing you have to remove the interior light to tighten the aerial??

    yup i live in scotland and when ever it rains i get fookin soaked, so i ve had enough im stripping the whole sun roof out and putting in a sealed perspec sheet, should save some waight aswell
