Hi Guys. Have just joined the site and thought id say hi. Im based in Cambridgeshire. If any one knows of any local club meets etc please let me know. Will post some pics of my car in the next few days. Have just spent a mint on her.. Have owned the car for 5 years now.. Have just bought some parts i need fitting (replacement shocks, hoses, new rad, header tank etc) . Has any one used BB Performace in Essex?. Feed back would be great..

welcome george! firstly! we have had a few local meets! (im essex based) and we have so far had a meet in essex and ipswich! our next one will be the big meet at the FCS car show! where we have a stand and already have 20+ williams confirmed already! secondly! bb's i would recommend! they have done all my servicing for me(which is to a very high standard!) and any other work ive needed(i wouldnt let anyone else touch her) in the year and 3 months ownership of the car! i am currently in negotiations for a club member discount with bb's! also may i ask how you found the site???? oh and by the way! we still have room on the stand if you want to show of your pride and joy!

Thanks for the info. Found the site on an MSN search engine i think. Great Site... Will take alook at details of the show and let you know.. Have really been messed about by garages in the Cambridgeshire area in the past. In 2001 i snapped the cambelt on her and it took four months to get it sorted. One of my mates owns a breakers yard in Cambs and he had just bought a rolled Willams 1 at auction. I bought everthing but the shell. The engine from the Williams 1 was rebuilt then placed in my Williams 2. The work was carried out by TT Motorsport in Boston, Lincs. Top guys and did a great job but is was a nightmare due to the distance. I have since had the car completly refurb'd and she looks great. Paint, New trim, decals the lot!!! Got my self some new wheels from Renault a few weeks ago (God they were dear!!!).

£200 each!!! Owch!! Toyo Proxes's were £40 each fitted..... May be selling my old wheels in the next few weeks but thinking about keeping them... I only use the car every now and then.. Have a company car (Benifit my arse!!! he he). The Williams has only done 1200 mile in the last year..
