Strange wobbling!

Right, nboticed last night as i was accelerating the whole front end of the car was wobbling, not just slightly either, i mean loads undrivable. its defenitly rotational. like a drive shaft was bent, but, why start all of a sudden? and why only when accelerating? its fine on deaccel. apoart from changing down gear as your bringing the revs up its doing it.

any ideas?

CV joint on driveshaft could have gone?

i was thinking along the lines of a cv joint, but the way it does it confused me and put me in doubt. ive got a 19 16v front end to put on it to give it the widetrack, so i'll find out if it is or not.

On the wide track, its the wishbones, d/s, and hubs yes?

are the 19's hubs longer when it comes to the sttering arms? or will the track rods have to be wound out loads?

You need wishbones, driveshafts (one has to come from a williams), ARB, track rod ends get wound out, hubs can remain the same, its the driveshafts that are longer

well i think i know what it is! the gearbox gave up last night, had an argument with the mrs, went out, and then it gave up 3rd and 5th.
