Hey all

Just got a new starter motor for my 1996 16v, the unit looks the same appart from being a bit smaller......i'm thinking it may be the one for a Williams.

Will it fit+work?

How come? I thought the idea of a williams starter is becuase its stronger to turn over the bigger engine, so a vlver lump should be no probs for it

Apparently even the smaller ones from 1.2/1.4s will fit a valver as well, and because they are smaller there are less prone to heat related failure.
